Saltwater cures all wounds | Vintage Style Overalls & White Lace Bralette Outfit

Afternoon Lovelies,
Today I frolicked around the beach, getting my daily dose of Vitamin D and Vitamin Sea in this gorgeous white lace bralette and these vintage style overalls! I am obsessed with bralettes lately and when I bought this white lace bralette a few weeks ago I knew it would look perfect under a pair of overalls, so here we have it! Besides shooting this cute outfit, a great day today was had consisting of a walk along the beach and a massive feast at Passion-Tree Velvet afterwards.

Speaking of feasts, I can't believe it is only 2 sleeps until Christmas! Where has this last week gone? And before we know it, it will be New Years Eve! I had better start working on my New Years resolutions, and planning my New Years Eve outfit.

Tell me, what are you planning on wearing for Christmas and NYE? I need some inspiration!

And I hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas,

Kelly xx

The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything | Featuring My Brown Suede Princess Polly Shorts

Princess Polly Shorts, Dotti T-shirt, Cotton On Boots, Factorie Hat
 Afternoon all!
Today I present to you my favourite clothing item of the moment - these beautiful brown suede shorts! I'm actually in love with anything suede right now. I love the texture and they add an urban feel to any plain tee.

I can't believe it's finally summer and even more surprisingly that it's December! I love this time of year, especially all the Christmas cheer in the shopping centres and shopping for presents. It's just such a fun time and makes me feel grateful for all the people I have in my life.

Anyway I have limited internet out here in Warwick as I'm currently doing placement on a beef cattle farm. But I'll be back home at the end of the week to shoot more outfit posts!

Talk soon,
Kelly xx

Evening lovelies,
I’m so excited that exams are over and it is finally summer here in Australia! I have so many new clothes I recently bought as an end of exam treat and I can’t wait to style them and shoot them for you guys.
These photos were taken on my little escape this week to Montville (another post exam treat courtesy of the boyfriend) and I felt this artsy and relaxed fitting dress was perfect to wear while exploring this quaint little town.
I am particularly in love with the purple embroidery of this dress paired with the baby pink fabric. So simple yet pretty! And this ofra lipstick is simply to die for, I am in love with colour! It may have cost me an arm and a leg in shipping from the U.S. but I would definitely have to say 100% worth it. I think I am due for a beauty favourites update soon!
I am so happy to finally be blogging again, chat again soon!

Hello Spring

Sabo Skirt Dress, Kmart Shoes, Thrifted Hat
The warmer days have finally hit us here in Australia! So what better way to celebrate than with this cute pastel number? This dress was another gift from my 21st a few weeks ago and I am in love with the colours!
Uni is back now but just 6 weeks until summer holidays! And until I can finally take some a few trips I’ve been dying to take as well as work on a few projects to improve this blog.  I’m just letting that be my motivation to power through the last of this semester!
Hoping your week is going well,
Kelly xx

September Beauty Obsessions ♡ ft. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

Ahh what a week! I’m on mid-semester break at the moment but it feels like anything but a holiday. Probably because I’ve been desperately trying to catch up all my lectures I’ve foolishly skipped over the last few weeks. I also had my annual Vet Ball on the weekend which was so much fun, although my poor feet took a bashing dancing around in heels until 4 in the morning.
Today I’m sharing with you my favourite beauty products of the month, which I’m super excited to share with you guys because I think I am in love with all of these products more than any other products in my previous monthly favourite posts.

1. Hourglass Ambient Light Palette
I received this amazing palette from my sister for my 21st birthday last month, and have been using it everyday since, especially the middle colour, incandescent light. I use it as a highlighter on top of my cheek bones and while they don’t give a dramatic highlight, they do give a subtle glow making our skin appear brighter and healthier. And while the difference is subtle it is definitely noticeable. While the price is expensive, I feel the quality does not disappoint. The powder is fine and minimises appearance of pores, making it an everyday go-to for me.

2. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black
I’ve used this eyeliner a few times now and I am in love with it. It drys a matte black which is hard to find in some cheaper drug store eyeliners and I love the felt tip. Although it dries out fairly quickly so be sure not to leave the lid off and give the eyeliner a good shake before use!

3. Maybelline Lash Sensational
Okay so I’m probably a little late to the game with this one, but I think this is my new favourite drug store mascara! I have loved The Colossal by Maybelline for some time now, so decided to give this one a go when I read heaps of good reviews and I love it! It makes my eyelashes super long and separates them well giving a fan effect. I would say it is different to The Colossal, maybe a little less volumising but I love how long my lashes look after using this mascara. Obsessed.

4. Coco by Chanel Eau de Toilette
Another 21st birthday present! This spray is so different to any of the other perfumes I own. I tend to go for sweet and floral scents but Coco is perfect for night time with its spicy and sensual fragrance.

5. Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Peony
I love the colour of this lipstick, perfect for everyday and matches almost any outfit. The formula is very pigmented and long lasting too! I’ve got quite alot of use out of this product in the last month.

6. MAC Matte Lipstick in Taupe
This lipstick is probably my favourite beauty product of the month. I only bought it two weeks ago but have worn it almost everyday since (when I’m not wearing my Too Faced Liquid Lipstick). I LOVE this colour! I went to the MAC counter to try out Velvet Teddy, a colour that almost every beauty blogger talks about, but the girl at the counter suggested to me this colour and I am so glad she did! It’s similar to Velvet Teddy only darker, slightly more brown and far more striking. I had so many compliments the first day I wore this lipstick and felt as though my make up looked more mature than if I had worn my usual pink lip products.

7. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette
And last but not least this amazing eyeshadow palette! I have wanted this palette for so long, so when I received a gift voucher for Mecca Maxima for my 21st I knew exactly what I wanted. And I was not disappointed! I love all the colours on this palette! I haven’t had the chance to play around with them all on my eyelid yet, but the ones that I have I absolutely love. This palette has a good selection of matte, shimmer and glitter shadows so you could do a complete make up look with this palette, and for that reason alone I would higly recommend this palette. The colours also blend like a dream and the whole thing smells like chocolate. You can’t go wrong!
Hope you all enjoyed this post! What beauty products have you been loving this month? I’d love to hear from you guys!
And I have heaps of clothes to shoot, so look out for more posts coming soon!

Like seeing stars and endless nights, for you I’ll be waiting

Popcherry dress
Hi guys, here is the second set of photos from my horsey shoot! I love how the setting sun accentuates the white lace of my dress, I definitely believe I saved the best photos for last. I hope you guys enjoyed these series of photos as much as I enjoyed spending time with these ponies!
Finally mid-semester exams are over and I can’t wait to get back into organising more blog posts! It’s become such a hobby of mine and I’ve noticed an increase in the number of comments and vistors I have to my site lately which is super rewarding, so if you’re reading this post I’d like to thank you!
And if you’re in love with these photos make sure you check out my friend’s facebook page:
Have a great weekend!

Even if it’s just in your wildest dreams

Popcherry lace dress

I’m so sorry it’s been such a long time since I posted! But to make it up to you guys, here is part one of this amazing photoshoot I did in this beautiful white lace dress by Popcherry a few weeks ago!

This was such a fun shoot to do! One afternoon, my friend from uni and I decided it would be fun to dress up her ponies and trot them around in their paddock whilst taking photos in pretty dresses and I have to say these shots turned out amazing! Even better than I had planned!

I’ve seriously had a thing for lace lately, I just can’t get enough of it! I recently purchased another lace piece to wear to my 21st last weekend and will have to do a shoot in that dress too!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post and as I have sooooo many photos to share look out for part two of these photos coming out sometime early next week!

Happy Friday eve,

Kelly xx

P.S. Make sure you check out MH photography for more amazing photos!
