Celebrated the end of another year of uni by taking a dip in Cedar Creek Falls with my Uni friends.

Shopping on Chapel Street in Melbs.

My high school best friend's wedding in Mornington.

Our homestay in Mornington, it was absolutely adorable!

The cutest cafes you ever did see in Melbourne.

Exploring the mazes of street art in Melbourne.

Treating myself to new make-up, the usual.

Deciding to eat healthy and exercise after putting on 10kg at Chrissy lunch,

Visiting Barefoot Barista in Palm Beach with my sister to plan for something exciting in the new year.

And that's a wrap for 2016! I hope you have all had a great 2016 and I hope 2017 treats you all even better. Have a great New Year's Eve everyone and until next year,

Off-the-Shoulder Mini Dress & Strappy Heels | Garden Party Dress Perfection

Here are a few snaps awhile back of this gorgeous outfit I wore to my best high school friend's wedding the other week. Upon looking back at my last blog post, it appears that I am obsessed with off-the-shoulder tops and dresses this one being no exception. Paired with these gorgeous strappy Lipstik heels you can not go wrong for any garden party, wedding, or even last minute Christmas shenanigans if you ask me! I would definitely wear this dress to any classy occasion.

Anyway if I don't post again, wishing you guys a Merry Christmas! Hope you your day is everything you wish for and that Santa is extra nice to you all.

Off-the-Shoulder Crop, Black Jeans & Boots | Chapel Street Shopping

It's so great to finally be on holidays and finally have the time to edit a few outfit photos! These photos were snapped in a side street of Melbourne's busy Chapel street. I went to Melbourne on the weekend to attend a friend's wedding and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to spend some extra time exploring. It's definitely a different city to Brisbane with a unique aesthetic to every side street and a cool hipster vibe in every cafe but needless to say I fell in love with it's quirky charm.

Another thing I am in love with is this baby blue Off-the Shoulder crop from Dissh boutiques. It's super cute and definitely one of my new summer essentials. I can't wait to try pairing it with shorts and skirts! But as the weather was slightly chillier in Melbourne I teamed it with jeans in these photos instead.

Anyway I'm off to grab some tea and snuggle into a night of Gossip Girl and reality TV.

Daisy Checkered Crop & Knee Length Boots

Dotti Coat, Glue Daisy Crop, Dotti Skirt, Pay-less Boots, Sportsgirl Bucket Bag, ASOS felt hat

So I was meant to post these photos months ago and somehow life took over and I decided on having a break from blogging, but finally these gorgeous photos are up and I'm hoping to get many more up as mid-semester break is approaching.

In my time away I've managed to organise a holiday for Japan in January 2017 (yay!), complete the last of my pre-clinical farm placements and make it through another gruelling semester, meaning I am now half a vet! And now is where the fun (and even more challenging) work begins!

Anyway I thought I had better get this outfit up before all hints of winter disappear as we head into spring. So hopefully I'll have a few new pretty Spring inspired outfits heading your way soon!

Floral Off-The-Shoulder Playsuit & Over-the-Knee Boots | The Perfect Fall Outfit for a Day in Surry Hills

I can't believe how long it's been since I last blogged! I'm so sorry for the lack of posts but I have a few outfit posts coming up that I shot in Sydney over the weekend, and this pretty playsuit was shot in the beautiful Surry Hills.

I'm a sucker for anything floral basically, so when my sister bought this beautiful floral off-the-shoulder jumpsuit off one of my favourite online boutiques I knew I needed to shoot a few photos in it! I love how perfect this outfit is for fall/autumn paired with the fedora and over-the knee boots, I've been waiting all season to wear these boots and I'm so glad I got the chance to wear them in Sydney!

Hope you all have a great week, and I promise to get up another outfit I wore to Sydney some time next week. Speak soon,

Back to Basics | Navy Striped Tee, Button-Up Skirt and Chunky Boots

All About Eve Navy Striped T-Shirt, Dotti Button-Up Skirt, Verali Chunky Boots, Cotton-On Frilly Socks, Renee Loves Frances Leather Purse

I know, I know it's been way too long since I last posted! I haven't had access to a camera these past few weeks but you can rest assured I'll be posting more regularly from now on.

I have recently become obsessed with basic clothing pieces. After stalking many other fashion bloggers these last few weeks I have come to the realisation that my wardrobe was seriously lacking in some good basic pieces such as this amazing All About Eve striped tee and Dotti button-up skirt. And now basic pieces are all I want to wear!

Anyway hoping you all had a lovely weekend stuffing yourself on chocolate. I know I did!

Pink Vintage Tee & Acid Wash Shorts | Perfect Back to Uni Outfit

Little White Lies T-Shirt, Levis Shorts, White Leather High-Top Converse

Afternoon lovelies,

How is it back to uni tomorrow?! I have no idea where my holidays have gone! The only thing I'm looking forward to is planning a few uni outfits (and maybe using my new stationery) such as this cute Vintage Tee from Dissh and these Acid Wash Levis that I found for $4 at the suitcase rummages in Brisbane. (Such a bargain!) I love the look of them paired with converse, super cute and practical, especially if you're doing a science degree like me and are restricted to enclosed shoes most of the time.

Besides mentally preparing for uni, I've spent numerous hours lying on the beach trying desperately to soak up the last of those summer rays in the hope that bronzed skin will keep my spirits up as the new semester begins.

Anyway, I'd better go check my timetable and start getting organised for tomorrow!

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday afternoon,

Kelly xx

My Top 10 Island Escape Essentials

Hello lovelies,
I'm so sorry I didn't share this post sooner but sometimes life just gets in the way. Summer is now coming to an end but I still want to share this post with you guys in case you're lucky enough to be jetting off to a tropical island escape while we head towards winter. (In which case I'm very jealous!) Without further ado, here are my top 10 island escape essentials:

1. Cute Bikini/One Piece
For obvious reasons! I'm in love with my Tigerlily bikini and classic style one piece from Show Pony.

2. Wide Brim Hat & Some Stylish Sunnies
Perfect for protecting yourself from the sun while looking super cute and stylish.

3. Cute Floral Playsuits/Dresses
To relax in while you sip a few cocktails by the pool.

4. Body Scrub
I loooooooove these 2 body scrubs I've been using lately - Soap & Glory's Breakfast Smoothie Scrub and Life's a Beach Coconut Scrub. Both smell so delicious and scrubs are great for scrub off dead skin so your skin is glowing and prepped for some fake tan.

5. Gradual Tanner
Perfect for building up a tan during your holiday but without the damaging side effects of a natural tan. This Bondi Sands gradual tanner gives you the most natural looking tan you won't even be able to tell that it's fake!

6. Sun Tan Oil
I'll be honest, sometimes I just like the look and feel of a real tan, but this Reef sun tan oil has SPF15 so does give your skin the extra protection while letting your skin darken slightly. If you prefer not to damage your skin at all, they also have an SPF30 lotion.

7. A Tropical Fragrance
Such as this Juicy Couture one gets you in the mood!

8. Bronzer and Highlighter
For accentuating that glowing face!

9. Moisturizing Lip Balm and Shampoo and a Liquid Lipstick
Sometimes sand and salt water can wreck havoc on our features including our lips and hair. Make sure you take extra moisturising shampoo, conditioner and lip balm! It will be a life saver! And a liquid lipstick can't hurt for a lasting pop of colour on your lips.

10. Travel Journal & Passport
Definitely the most important item you will need! I love having my travel journal to document all the cool adventures and all the experiences I have when travelling. And this one from Kikki.K is super cute!

What are your summer essentials when escaping on an island holiday? Let me know in the comments below!

Summery Pastel Blue Floral Jumpsuit

Dissh Jumpsuit, Factorie Hat, London Rebel Sandals

I hope everyone has had a fabulous week celebrating Australia Day! If you can't tell from my sun burnt chest, I certainly did! For me it's been an exhausting but fun week and I am super excited to announce that on Saturday I will be heading overseas to Vanuatu and Noumea on a cruise! So I'm planning a massive blog post on my fashion and beauty must haves for an island get-away which will hopefully be coming to the blog soon if I (fingers crossed) get some access to internet next week.

Anyway, yesterday I was frolicking around Coolangatta in this new pastel blue floral playsuit I purchased from Dissh. I love the pastel blue colour, so pretty and perfect for summers on the beach and the fringe trimming is hippie perfection.

Hoping you all have a great weekend, and for more summer outfit inspiration be sure to check out these posts:

Happy Friday Eve,
